Hello Cuhow Family,

As you may know by now the CDC has cautioned against any gatherings of over 10 people and while this is not a ban but a guideline, we believe the biblical act of loving our neighbor looks like adhering to these guidelines. By following these guidelines we are not only helping to limit the spread of Covid-19 but are also helping put people at ease as it is less exposure to worry about.
 

Now, how do we follow these guidelines and STILL be the church? For the last thousands of years what has made The Church the church was that people GATHERED!

Well, we are so grateful to live amidst the greatest communication shift in the last 500 years. Technology has made it easy for people to gather in digital spaces whenever there have been physical barriers and Cuhow plans to take advantage of this.
 

So starting this Sunday we will be live streaming to Facebook.com/Cuhow every Sunday at 11AM (Youtube and Instagram are in the works as well) on location at from Salem Church.  (Btw, you don't need a Facebook profile to watch.) Once again we are humbled and honored by their generosity. Due to the limitations we will be keeping the building open to the 10 people needed to facilitate an amazing digital Sunday Experience.
 

What does this mean for you and your family?

Well it means you have the amazing opportunity of bringing Cuhow into your home!
 

We are encouraging everyone not to just tune in to the live stream but to create the Cuhow Experience in their very own homes! You can invite friends over to watch together (be sure to follow the CDC guidelines when you do), or you can start a Facebook Watch Party and watch together online. You can also make it to the live stream early and chat with others in the comments.
 

There's a lot of room for us to explore how to do church in this brand new way and we're excited to invite you to be a part of it. Here's some things you can do to prepare for this new direction:
 

• Turn on post notifications - This is the BEST way to stay up to date with all the latest news coming out from our church. If there is a delay on the stream, if we launch any exciting content or activities, etc. we will be posting all of that to our feeds on both Instagram and Facebook. So visit our profiles (facebook.com/cuhow | Instagram.com/Cuhow) and turn on post notifications so you don't miss anything!

• Watch - We will be streaming every Sunday at 11AM from Facebook.com/Cuhow. We want to see you there!

• Invite - This is a time where people more than ever need to hear the Good News of Jesus and what he offers. They need to experience his peace and his love amidst this time of panic and distress. This is what we will be sharing each and every week. Invite someone to experience God's love so that they may also experience his comfort.

• Post - To commemorate this new direction we will be launching the hashtag #cuhowathome ! We want to encourage you to post what your Cuhow set up looks like with the hashtag and tag us with @cuhow. We wanna see what everyone's Cuhow looks like!

• Give - This has been a difficult time for many people and we want to be a source of help to others.  This is the greatest time, to be generous.  We’re grateful that our church is a generous church and it’s all lead by our dream team.  Our giving will be done through givelify and www.give.cuhow.com - We Thank you again!

We believe that times like these give the church a chance to truly be the church. While it has been challenging, we are truly excited at this opportunity to reach people in a brand new way. If all that we do means that at least one person comes to know Jesus Christ, it will all have been worth it. That is our heart.
